Auto Lift Freight Delivery Information
Your auto lift will ship via LTL common carrier freight and will typically be delivered on a 48-foot semi-truck. Please review the following information before placing your order:
-
You are responsible for unloading the lift from the truck. The freight driver is not responsible for unloading the lift.
-
Lift-gate delivery is not available for auto lifts.
-
Auto lifts cannot be unloaded by hand. You must have suitable equipment capable of safely lifting the full weight of the lift. Examples include a forklift, Bobcat, tractor, tow truck, or backhoe.
-
If you do not have the necessary equipment to unload the lift, we can arrange shipment to the nearest freight terminal operated by the carrier. You can then pick up the lift using a suitable trailer or moving van.
-
You are responsible for scheduling the delivery appointment with the freight carrier. The carrier will contact you, or you may need to contact them directly to arrange a delivery time that works for your schedule.
-
Free shipping applies to the lower 48 United States only. Free shipping does not include government-secured locations, state or national parks, construction sites, islands, Alaska, or Hawaii. Additional freight charges may apply to excluded locations.
Freight Tracking & Delivery Time
Once your lift ships, Steel Edge Tools will email you the freight carrier information and tracking number.
Freight delivery is generally slower than standard small-package shipping. Delivery typically takes 3–14 business days, depending on your location and the freight carrier's schedule.
Please allow adequate time for freight delivery and be prepared to coordinate the delivery appointment with the carrier.
